Private Fund Consulting Overview

SCA provides compliance and regulatory services to SEC registered hedge fund, private equity and venture capital fund managers (“Private Fund Managers”), as well as those that are not registered with the SEC. For those Private Fund Managers that are registering with the SEC, SCA provides full registration and post-registration services.

For Private Fund Managers that are not required to register with the SEC, SCA offers its Compliance Launch Program, which provides customized policies, procedures, internal controls and risk management processes, as well as a Private Fund Inspection Program. These programs are designed to reduce the risk of regulatory or investor liability, assist in meeting the Manager’s fiduciary duty to investors and provide assurances to potential investors.

SCA staff assigned to work with Private Fund Managers are attorneys, CPAs and compliance professionals with experience in the Private Fund Industry, coupled with a strong background in SEC compliance under the Advisers Act.
